Impossible Tamale Sampling

Congrats to Chef Derek from Leutner for being one of the top four finalists in the nationwide Impossible Foods “outside the bun” contest! He will be sampling his Impossible tamale recipe during dinner starting at 5:30 at Leutner on Friday, March 1 – come try them!

Impossible Foods prompted this contest with all Bon Appetit chefs throughout the country to test out their new burger recipe – which has improved nutrition, versatility and taste (fewer calories, lower total fat, lower saturated fat and lower sodium • soy protein instead of wheat protein • reduced the amount of coconut oil while adding sunflower oil).
