*Not familiar with the King Cake tradition? King Cakes are round or oval in shape, symbolizing a king’s crown. In many traditions, a small, plastic baby figurine is placed inside the cake. The person that finds the baby in their slice is “king” or “queen” for that day, and must host the Mardi Gras party next year, or provide the King Cake next year!
